Burner Management Systems (BMS) and the Alberta Gas Code

Facilities with gas fired equipment must be in compliance with the Alberta Gas Code Regulations. This short course will review recent changes to the gas variance for the Alberta Oil and Gas Industry, as well as the regulatory standards applicable to all BMS projects, and non-regulatory standards that often have influence in BMS designs. In addition, a few specific BMS applications will be reviewed, and participants will be introduced to the steps in an effective BMS project execution from concept to audit, design, and completion.
